Perfect Skating Durham

Kyle and his coaches at Perfect Skating Durham are amazing! Each session is never more than 12 athletes on the ice, the small group training is essential. Correction, motivation and precise detail are so important and crucial to my daughters training, it is exactly what these guys deliver! You will NEVER see line skates of 30 kids barreling down the ice with no correction, never. These guys are the real deal, they have taught my daughter the essential tools to skating all while keeping the game of hockey in the complete forefront. That is a game changer. Nice edges mean nothing if it doesn't relate to the movements of the game. Training that teaches the game is right here at Perfect Skating. Her skills have developed massively, she is now more confident, stronger and a threat on the ice.

Perfect skating is a game changer! Anytime you can have a methodology to quantify one’s development is undeniable in its success. Pierce started PS in Nov 2019 and the results were instantly translatable to his gameplay...I highly recommend to all players who are serious about taking their skills to the next level...Kyle and staff have a passion and intensity that’s brought to each session that is infectious...can’t wait for the rinks to reopen so Pierce can continue his development.

I visited the Perfect Skate website and emailed Kyle to find out if the Small Area Movement program would be a fit for my 8 year old son that needed to develop his cross-over & turning skills". I was pleasantly surprised when I got a reply within 20mins (amazing customer service) and Kyle outlined how the program would be taught. When I watched my son the very first day I was ultra impressed with how the two coaches provided individual support for each technical instruction that was needed. The on ice coaches were OUTSTANDING and it showed in the progress my son made each day on the ice (all the skills he was lacking started to become second nature for him). Most importantly my son absolutely loved every second of the program. I signed him up for a second week and at the end of the second week he was begging me to go for a third week. I recommend the Perfect Skate program to anyone who wants their child to have fun

Kyle and his staff are amazing! My son started with Kyle in a summer camp and we have never been so happy. My son also joined Kyle’s 30 week elite training and every morning he had the training not once did he ever complain. In fact he looked forward to it. The progress my son has made for his own personal goals has been amazing and it’s all thanks to Kyle and his programs with the small groups you get constant correction and positive feedback.Thanks Kyle and the PS team!

This was the second season using Perfect Skating. Will definitely be back for third season. The PS Methodology and skills learned are transferred to game situational scenarios which makes PS more than just skating drills. The 4:1 player to coach ratio means high reps and constant movement. Kyle and the other coaches bring a passion for teaching which the players feed off for learning. Awesome program and highly recommend.

My son Connor has been going to perfect skate 2 1/2 months and the results are simply amazing. Anyone that knows anything about hockey will tell you how important your edge work is in todays game; this is the best place to fine tune those skills. The instructors are engaged, they will stop the drills and make sure everyone is doing it right, and with the 1:4 ratio every kid gets the attention you pay for.

We put both our daughter and our son in perfect skating with Kyle and his team.The perfect skating program they offer is the only one I’ve encountered in Durham that focuses on the technical foundation of a proper stride.Both our children have progressed through this program better than any other skating program offered in the area.The Instructor to skater ratio is unbelievable, sometimes with only 2 skaters per instructor.Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn a powerful and proper skating stride and agility through proper edge work.

The best skating/game situation around. Have loved working with Kyle and PS for over 3 years now. The innovations and drills provided are like none around and truly bring the best out of all ice sessions. Would recommend anyone to PS and the brand they bring forth for young skaters all the way up to professionals. Kyle and his team always show up full of energy and passion which makes training with PS that much better.
